Since debut, Rain’s late mother had been a energy supplier for him.

Every time faced with important matters, Rain will go pray at his late mother’s. Before releasing Rainism album, he also went to visit his late mother.

Each time when Rain accepts interview, he sets up a new goal. After achieving the goal he accepts interview once again.

” I gave up on things that I could enjoy in my 20s, but I don’t regret. In the beginning of next year, my Hollywood movie “Ninja Assassin” will be in theaters all over the world, and in the second half of next year will release album in the U.S. I think next year will be a big turning point in my life. “

The K-Pop singer moves to action films with Ninja Assassin.

Rain may be the most famous person I’ve ever interviewed, and all I really know about him is from The Colbert Report. The superstar of K-Pop had a dance-off with Colbert after he beat the satirical pundit on a list of most influential people. Now he’s becoming a movie star with a part in Speed Racer, and a starring vehicle in next year’s Ninja Assassin. Directed by the Wachowskis’ protégé James McTeague, Rain will play an orphan who becomes a ninja warrior.

Raaaaaaiiiinnnnnnnn!!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the short chat I had with South Korean pop sensation Rain about his starring role in James McTeigue’s V FOR VENDETTA follow-up NINJA ASSASSIN.

The footage they showed at the con was bloody and fun, so I was more than happy to chat with McTeigue (coming soon), Naomi Harris (coming soon) and Rain (here now!) about the flick.

You’ll notice that he speaks some English, but has to speak through a translator sometimes and… well, I think a little was lost in the translation, but you’ll see. Rain came across as a very gracious guy, even if the publicist pulled him away before I could ask my killer final closing question… but then again, it was a visual question anyway. I wanted him to teach me a Colbert-busting dance move. Oh well, next time.
Enjoy… RAAAAAIIIINNNNNNNN!!!!!
